Spencer is starting at the private school Oakley which is a fresh start. The classmates here are more accepting, he is getting new friends - and even more - and starting on the boy's soccer team. But no one at Oakley knows that Spencer is trans. When Spencer's coach discovers a "F” on Spencer's birth certificate, national law forces him to put Spencer on the bench. Now, Spencer has to decide whether he is satisfied with cheering from the bench or he wants to fight for his rights. The latter option also means to come out to everyone he knows.
