The Bhagavadgita Original Commentary: Unveiling the Gita's Secrets is one of the most comprehensive commentaries on the Bhagavadgita in recent times. Jayaram V published a commentary earlier in 2011 under the title The Bhagavadgita Complete Translation. Jayaram V spent three years and published a new edition in 2024 under the new title, Bhagavadgita: Unveiling The Gita's Secrets, completely and thoroughly revising his earlier commentary and providing an in-depth analysis of each sloka and yoga, citing relevant information from classical commentators like Shankaracharya and Madhavacharya, as well as ancient texts such as the Yogasutras and the Upanishads. He also offered a detailed historical background of the teachings, discussing the circumstances, the socio-religious context, and the key influences that might have led to their formulation.
