’Revolution. Fortællinger’ udgør anden del af Jakob Ejersbos store Afrikaepos, der begynder med romanen ’Eksil’. I ’Revolution’ møder vi livsstykket Sofie, der er halvt dansker, halvt grønlænder, og som på forunderlig, fantastisk og munter vis og efter mange, mange afstikkere havner i Afrika, hvor hun for første gang føler sig hjemme. Vi møder unge indiske piger, der forsøger at slippe ud af deres familiers jerngreb, og vi møder Samantha, hovedpersonen i ’Eksil’. Vi er nede i tanzanit-minerne, hvor både voksne og børn arbejder under gruopvækkende forhold, og hvor menneskeliv regnes for intet. Vi er i USA, hvortil en af de sorte piger fra Moshi er rejst for at få den chance, hun på grund af sin hudfarve aldrig kunne få i Afrika, og vi er i Helsinki, hvor vi møder Jarno, der har fået job som nattevagt.
