Dayton is a troubled child who doesn't fit in with other children. Despite this, his mother does everything she can to provide him with a good life. But she can't make a girl love him. And, as Dayton grows up, his resentment toward women for their lack of attention grows. When he discovers incel forums online, he becomes submerged in a world of people who not only share his resentment, but encourage him to act on his beliefs that are becoming more and more extreme. With the support of his online friends, he decides it's time to make society pay for what it's done to him. As events spiral toward the day of murder and mayhem he has planned, his mother begins to realise that, regardless of how much love she gives him, it might not be enough. Can she prevent his day of reckoning? Or will the world pay the price for the person he's become?
