Paige Bowers has a problem. Paige has been battling the healthcare system her whole life. As a chronically ill, autistic omega, Paige has to fight to be heard. Just when she thinks she has a doctor she's making real headway with, her insurance company drops a bomb on her-they won't cover this new treatment unless she can "prove" her pain isn't from a hormone imbalance. In other words, she needs to get off her suppressants and have a heat. Mickey Condor is just the man for the job. He's known Paige since they were children, been in love with her since she was nineteen, and has kept his distance for her own good. Still, having a heat alone is dangerous, and Mickey offers his services as someone Paige trusts. A heat won't cure Paige's pain, but it might just give them the push they need.
