1/12 Honda CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP 30th Anniversary, LIMITED PRODUCTION, Tamiya is delighted to announce that our long-running 1/12 Motorcycle Series welcomes the addition of a new 1/12 Honda CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP - featuring a special coloring to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first generation “FIREBLADE” – as a variation kit of Item 14138 (1/12 Honda CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP) released in 2020. The Honda CBR900RR FIREBLADE was a groundbreaker upon its release in 1992: with its outstanding power, handling and size, and developed a whole new genre of sport bikes attaining fame around the world. In 2019, Honda announced the CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE (the third “R” in its name stands for “race”) as the first full model change FIREBLADE in twelve years, and this bike features a stunning motorcycle design with a highly circuit-oriented feel and plenty of race technology: a high performance 218hp engine, and aerodynamic honed cowls, highlighted by triple interior fairing winglets in the side cowls. Last year was the 30th anniversary of the first FIREBLADE bike and Honda announced the release of the special CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP 30th anniversary. With numerous performance updates across the bike, one of its eye-catching points is the CBR900RR-insprired tricolor livery coordinated around a pearl white base color with stylish red and blue accents in brush-painted style. Further treats include dedicated 30th anniversary logos on top of the fuel tank and on the silencer, an engraved serial number on the fork top yoke, and a stunning startup graphic with a ring of fire on the LCD instrument panel when it is turned on. About the Model, This is a 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 176mm (191mm including stand), width: 68mm, height: 96mm (97mm including stand). The aerodynamically honed form of the CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP is captured in style, including renderings of the internal winglets in the side cowls. High-quality Cartograf decals authentically depict red and blue elements of the stylish tricolor livery. The Akrapovic muffler is a slide molded component, with integrated sections of the silencer. Fuel tank and cover are also slide molded designs, helping to capture their complex forms in style. Main units such as engine, swing arm, front fork and muffler are screw-attached to the model frame. Side and under cowl, and fuel tank cover components can be removed even after completion of assembly. Choose whether to assemble a pillion seat with or without optional single seat cowl design. Synthetic rubber tires have authentic molded tread patterns. Use the included metal transfers to realistically depict mirror surfaces. Comes with a racing stand and masking stickers for use during the paint job.
