Acosta sunglasses are made of added polycarbonate. Polycarbonate (PC) is a material with very high mechanical strength but with limited dynamic strength. This is why our glasses are produced by adding a percentage of ABS to the virgin PC granule, a polymer with elastic fibers that incredibly increases its resistance to twisting and bending. The lenses, also in PC, guarantee original ultraviolet protection and maximum impact resistance. The result is a light but robust eyewear, ideal for everyday wear.
