How should we light our homes and our lives? How do we go about it without compromising quality of life or respect for the climate and sustainability? The light in our lives has deteriorated. There is too little daylight in our everyday lives and artificial light has become increasingly crude. Energy-saving bulbs are devoid of decent colours; high-end lamps and lighting fixtures are designed to look good rather than to give good light. The result is an insidious decline in quality of life of which we are seemingly unaware. Because the importance of light in our lives goes practically unremarked. We must teach ourselves to experience light so that we know how it affects us. We must discover how light sets the stage for our everyday lives to buck us up or make us feel down. We also need to experience everyday life with good light that promotes the good life and environment all over the world.
