This map concentrates on the far north island of Hokkaido, which is very different than the rest of Japan, and includes a detailed inset map of central Sapporo, its main city. The second side of the map is equally important, covering the main island of Honshu from Tokyo north to its northern tip and the northern coast from Toyama to Aomori. This map also includes a fair-sized inset of the Tokyo region from Narita to Yokohama and a very detailed map of central Tokyo.
