Anderson published two sequels in 2006 (Hunters of Dune) and 2007 (Sandworms of Dune) partly based on Frank Herbert's own notes of the next book in the series referred to as “Dune 7”. The “Chapter House Dune” and the Dune Chronicles in general contains the bestselling science fiction adventure ever and are the inspiration behind the film adaption Dune.
