Didi Dragon Do It Bad

What if the best way to get better... is to be bad at it first? When a young girl worries about not getting things right, her bold and brilliantly imperfect aunt steps in with the best advice ever: "Do it bad!" From clumsy roller skating and off-key guitar strumming to lopsided cakes and wobbly French, the two dive headfirst into trying-and messing up-together. Told in beautiful, poetic rhyme, Do It Bad is a joyful celebration of imperfection, resilience, and the courage to begin before you're ready. With heart and humor, it encourages kids to embrace the messy magic of learning by doing-even if that means doing it bad at first. Perfect for ages 4-8, this empowering picture book: Builds confidence through a relatable growth mindset message Features a heartwarming aunt-niece relationship Normalizes failure as a necessary and joyful part of learning Delivers a lyrical, read-aloud experience that grown-ups will love too For any child who's ever felt afraid to fail, Do It Bad is a playful and profound reminder: the only way forward... is through.
