Jessi St John The Weaver's Tapestry

Edith Vale thought she was done keeping secrets. She was wrong. In the aftermath of betrayal and death, Edith is handed a secret that will shatter-or save-all Aliis-kind. Edith is unmoored. And more dangerous than ever. With no one to trust, she buries herself in a new case; an understudy is brutally murdered at the Faerie Ring Theatre. But her assigned guard, Julian Roswick, watches her closely. He suspects the last Death Witch is still hiding a secret, and the closer they work together, the harder it is to deny the pull between them. Worse, Edith wants to trust him. But forces are closing in. Humans fear the return of a Death Witch, and even those who were once allies question whether her existence might upset the fragile balance. As the threads of the Weaver's Loom tighten around her and her arrest is imminent, Edith vanishes. She realises too late-she was never in control.
