Joseph V. Stalin Foundations of Leninism

Foundations of Leninism is compiled from a series of lectures delivered by Joseph Stalin at Sverdlov University in 1924, shortly after Lenin's death. Stalin distills Lenin's contributions to Marxism into a unified framework of "Marxism in the era of imperialism and proletarian revolution." Covering method, theory, strategy, the national and colonial questions, the peasantry, the Party, and Lenin's distinctive "style of work," the text outlines the principles of revolutionary politics. Foundations of Leninism quickly became one of the most influential manuals of Marxism-Leninism as it guided the Soviet state, shaped communist movements worldwide, and remains relevant today for revolutionary movements that continue to seek the end of imperialism. This edition includes a foreword and afterword by Clyfford DuMarais, author and editor for the Revolutionary Education and Action League (REAL). REAL is an organization based in Central Florida dedicated to uniting Theory and Action to develop class consciousness among American workers.
