Renate Rowland Oath Bound

Third title in the 'Bound by A WEB OF WYRD' trilogy, a dark-themed retelling of vampire origin based on Norse Gods in a modern, post-Ragnarok setting. What if fate forced you to share your soulmate? Could it kill you, slowly, from the inside? Despite the truce they have struck, Kjan remains in constant struggle with his Sire over their common affection for Eve. But their cease-fire is threatened by more than increasing jealousy: A debt is owed, and the Raven has come to collect. Hrafni's existence has gone unacknowledged for long enough. He, too, is a misfit. A reject. A social and racial outsider forced to wither in the shadow of his heritage since the day he was born. Not unlike the Godling. And when the stranger from an equally infamous bloodline makes Kjartan an offer that's hard to resist, betrayal becomes tempting. But he's not the only one with a debt to repay. Owing the Gods for a personal favor, Kjan is tasked to prevent the two from joining forces. While he questions where his Sire's loyalties truly lie, he's left with no one to trust. Not even Eve. Alone, he must fight his enemy within and without... or die trying. Readers are encouraged to check the author's note inside the book for trigger warnings.
