Ginger Lapid-Bogda Development by Design

Development by Design: The Enneagram and the Law of Three Most approaches to personal growth emphasize insight. But insight alone rarely produces deep, lasting change. Many people understand their Enneagram type and still find themselves repeating the same patterns. Awareness without a structure and process often leads to frustration and stalled development. Development by Design offers a fundamentally different approach to personal growth. Grounded in the Enneagram and the Law of Three, this book presents development as a designed, intentional process. What This Book Is About Development by Design introduces a clear developmental architecture for moving from false self to true self. Development is framed not as improvement, but as movement - the intentional engagement of the forces that shape change from the inside out. Rather than asking, "What Enneagram type am I?" this book invites a deeper question: How am I developing - and how deliberately? What Makes This Enneagram Book Different Most Enneagram books emphasize: Type descriptionsSelf-recognition and insightUnderstanding personality patterns Development by Design focuses on: Development as movement, not informationThe Law of Three as a living engine of changeWorking with resistance rather than fighting or bypassing itDesigning growth for comfort, progress, or breakthrough The Enneagram is used here as a developmental system, particularly relevant for personal and spiritual growth, relational dynamics, leadership, team development, coaching, and deep transformational work. What You Will Do in This Book This is not a book to read once and set aside. It is a structured, experiential process.
