Amy Kuivalainen Wolf of the Sands

A Viking witch touched by the gods, a powerful prince from a mysterious world, a love that will shape the destiny of a kingdom. Betrayed by her gods and sold by raiders to the People of Sand and Sky, Fenrys Rune-Tongue finds herself in Aaru, a world of impossible beauty and cruelty. She was meant to die in the arena-until a mysterious prince buys her freedom with a single glance at the rune marked on her skin. Khan, heir to a desert kingdom, knows that change is coming to his world, but he never anticipated it would be in the form of a fierce witch from another realm. When he sees the mark on her skin that they both share, he strikes a bargain with her. He will protect her and send her home in a year's time if she teaches him about her magic while pretending to be his royal concubine. But when Khan's sister seizes his throne through murder and betrayal, turning the great city of Ankhara into a realm of blood and terror, Fen chooses to stay and fight by his side. As their magic intertwines and passion ignites between them, she discovers the gods who abandoned her have been playing a deadly game-and she is the prize. Together, they'll face impossible odds, ancient magic, and the wrath of kingdoms, awakening a love that will impact the very fate of Aaru itself. A sweeping myth-inspired portal romantasy featuring a fierce Viking heroine, enemies-to-lovers tension, and world-shaking magic with a guaranteed HEA.
