Roberto Cavasin Searching for Hidden Trenches: 14 itineraries in Italy to discover the places of the Great War between Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto

This guide stems from the desire to make available to everyone, experts and non-experts, some itineraries of the Great War to be done at least once in life in Italy. This collection and selection of historical places took place in the last three years and allows the visitor to immerse himself completely in the past and relive, at least in part, the life of the infantry during the first world war. I personally visited and chose these places because in most cases they have recently been recovered by volunteers or voluntary associations with the arrangement of the trenches and military posts as well as with the installation of tables with educational information. The 14 itineraries that you will find in this Guide range from Veneto to Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige. How the itineraries are structured: Each one is complete with:General description and historical context-Recent photos of the route / placeTechnical indicationsWhere to park (photos and map)Where the route begins (Map)Route mapAltimetric mapConnection with the Download for the Digital Track.
