Doris Sheridan The Whole World Will Love Me

Devotion of St. Therese to the Holy Face "However tender was the devotion which Saint Therese had for the Child Jesus, it cannot be compared to the devotion she had for the Holy Face." ~ Mother Agnes of Jesus (St. Therese's elder sister and her Superior in the monastery.) The whole Martin family were members of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face. Previously, God had given to the Carmelite Sr. Mary St. Peter to establish within the Church a devotion of Reparation. As Therese explains in the text of the current book: "The object of Reparation to the Holy Face is to repair for the insults offered the Divine Majesty by those who through their own fault deliberately remain outside the Church; it is for avowed atheists, for blasphemers who scoff at all religion, and for all who out of hatred profane His Holy Name and hold in derision all that pertains to Divine Worship." Especially pertinent for our times, this book is the story of St. Therese and the Holy Face.
