C.J. Primer og C. J. Primer Reckless Beta

My life has never been perfect, but up until four years ago, I had a pretty good thing going. One impulsive night was all it took to completely derail my life's trajectory. One night with the Alpha's daughter, who was both far too young for me and completely off-limits. One night of giving into temptation, knowing it was something I could never come back from. Rather than sticking around to face the consequences, I took off. I left town and relocated to Chicago with the intention of never returning, but I should've known my past would catch up to me eventually. At least that's why I thought I was called back. Instead, I was offered the rank of Beta within our pack because Alpha Reid still doesn't know what I did. He still doesn't know the truth about why I left, and he definitely doesn't know that as soon as I returned from Chicago, I fell right back into bed with his only daughter. This secret we're keeping could ruin everything, but I can't stop, and it's only a matter of time before it comes to light. I deflowered the pack princess, and her daddy's gonna kill me when he finds out. * * * * * Reckless Beta is book three in the Shadowed Heirs series, a collection of paranormal romance novels centered around a group of aligned packs of wolf shifters. These books contain mature content (steamy scenes!), frequent use of profanity, and darker themes. While each book in the series concludes with a HEA for the main couple featured, there are some loose ends concerning the overarching storyline that runs throughout the entire five-book series. This book in particular does end on a soft cliffhanger that leads into the next book. Each individual book is a standalone, but the series is best read in order.
