Brenda Thurmond Liora, the Littlest Angel

Even the smallest light can change the whole world. High above the quiet hills of Bethlehem, the night sky shimmers with wonder. The stars sing softly, and every angel sparkles with golden fire. Every angel, that is, except one. Liora is the littlest angel, and her glow is gentle and pale. When the heavens burst into song to announce the birth of a King, Liora looks down at her tiny light and whispers sadly, "Surely I have nothing to give." While the great angels take their places and the wise men carry treasures of gold, frankincense, and myrrh across the desert, Liora stands apart with drooping wings. She feels too small, too dim, too overlooked. But deep within her heart, she feels a warm tug pulling her toward a humble manger below. What she discovers there will transform everything she believed about the size of her light and the meaning of her name. Liora, The Littlest Angel is a tender, faith-filled Christmas picture book for children ages 3 to 8 about purpose, belonging, and the beautiful truth that love given freely from the heart is never too small to matter. Perfect as a read-aloud tradition for families who cherish the true meaning of Christmas.
