Evie St. John The Merc and The Psychic

The Galactic Council has rules to protect the wildlife and citizens of member planets. The Controllers will stop at nothing to keep Earth their private reserve of slaves. Humans and animals alike have been stolen from their planet and used for nefarious reasons. On a quest to save his best friend, Pete Davis, has uncovered information that could topple their criminal scheme. The Merc Pete, known as Eeyore to his team, is on the hunt for his best friend, Grim. Trying to track down how he went missing, he's gotten footage that proves there is life beyond Earth. Now, he's on the run, trying to keep the rest of his team safe. Will he be able to keep himself from being the next one taken while distracted by the beautiful witch who rescued him? The Psychic Lilith's life has revolved around her family and the animals she's always rescuing. Her family has been pestering her to start dating, which isn't as easy for her as it sounds. Animals are just easier on her. No matter what's happened to them, they still trust humans. She wished she could do the same until an injured man decided to pass out in her car. Will she be able to convince the ladies' man mercenary who broke into her car and her heart that she's his perfect match? The mercenary and the psychic will have to watch each other's backs to ensure they can evade the Controllers' men and prevent further kidnappings. The Merc and the Psychic is for mature audiences only (18+) and includes graphic language, violence, and sex. Trigger warning list included. If swearing, detailed sexual encounters, violence, and other triggers bother you, this book probably isn't for you. But if you don't mind gruff, buff heroes who swear and headstrong heroines, this book may be what the doctor ordered.
