Andreas Trautner og Lasse Damgaard Hasselstrøm Project Reset

Project Reset: Rethinking Success, Empowering Change It began with the authors, Andreas Trautner and Lasse Hasselstr m from DIS/CREADIS Project Excellence Consulting, failing with their respective projects. Now, after a decade and a half of study and research, they reveal several shared truths about projects: Projects often fail for the same well-known reasons. Projects that fail, fail from the start. Organizations that attempt to address these issues are likely to fail. These challenges have persisted for decades. These recurring issues stem from a deeper, systemic problem: the lack of consensus on fundamental definitions within project management. Instead, each framework, methodology, method and ideology offers its own interpretation of what constitutes a project , project success, project management and what a project manager is - with different academic schools contributing their own perspectives as well. As a result, projects often become "Towers of Confusion" - modern-day equivalents of the Tower of Babel - where differing cultures and languages hinder effective communication and success. Project Reset addresses these challenges by offering clear and logical definitions, and a unified language for project management. The authors boldly challenge outdated concepts like the "Project Triangle" and the "Project Life Cycle," replacing them with an innovative, people-centered, and investment-driven approach: The Project Investment Chain(R). This transformative framework provides readers with an actionable approach to achieve meaningful and sustainable results. Packed with real-world insights, practical applications, and forward-thinking strategies, Project Reset is essential for anyone striving to lead impactful and enduring change. Whether you're a seasoned leader or new to project management, this book will reshape your approach, enabling you to transform projects into sound investments that deliver lasting value. The future of project management starts here. Reset your mindset. Redefine success.
