Rebecca Freeman Holding Out For Her Hero

Sam thought she was an ordinary person until her first convoy escort with the military was ambushed, and she was forced to take refuge in the sacred cliffs of the local deity known only as "The Goddess". The Goddess, a trickster with a heart of gold, informs Sam that she is destined to be one of her elite warriors, a Soturi (the real world calls them butches), and drags her bodily into the adventure of a lifetime. Gala knew she was destined to live in the realm of The Goddess from a very young age. She comes through the cliffs and finds everything she dreamed of as a young girl, except for the Soturi of her dreams. Gala is an Aiti, what the real world calls a femme, and the only Soturi she has ever loved, she has only met in her intense erotic dreams. Sam's Soturi team, Lili, Dasha, and Fern, became the best friends and found family she could imagine. Sam's biggest worries in training are about finding the Aiti whose body has haunted her dreams since her first day here. Their first mission starts out as a simple rescue mission, until Sam and Gala find themselves face to face and in more danger than they ever imagined. Now, it's not just two hearts on the line; Sam's training team finds themselves forced to defend not just one kidnapped Aiti but a town full of people held hostage by a greedy, petty tyrant.
