Tracey Kotze Hel

Hel: Goddess of Death, Silence, and the Shadow Path is a powerful and transformative exploration of one of Norse mythology's most overlooked deities. Far from the twisted image inherited through centuries of Christian distortion, Hel is revealed here in her true form-as a sovereign goddess of endings, stillness, shadow, and sacred truth. Tracey Kotze invites readers on a journey deep into Helheim, where death is not feared but honored, and where grief, silence, and shadow become gateways to healing and spiritual power. Inside you will discover: The true mythology and symbolism of Hel The spiritual meaning of her half-living, half-dead form A deep dive into Helheim, the realm of sacred rest Rituals, offerings, altars, and meditations for honoring Hel Shadow work practices for inner death, healing, and transformation Ancestral connection, forgotten spirits, and soul reclamation How Hel was demonized-and why her wisdom is needed now This is not a book of fear. It is a book of presence. A guide for those who walk through grief, endings, and silence seeking meaning, power, and peace.
