Andrea G. Henning Sunlight Prosecuted The Trial of Dr. Reiner Fuellmich Justice Made in Germany

Imagine this: You're sitting in a German jail, in pre-trial custody. You're running for national parliament. You're writing your closing statement behind bars - and the court would rather read emails than listen to your voice. Welcome to what may be the most absurd criminal trial in modern German history. This book is not a conspiracy tale. It's a documented observation of a case that never began as a crime, but as a civil dispute - politically charged, legally questionable, and socially explosive. And yet, in the course of this case, words like submachine guns, hand and foot shackles, and even white torture suddenly entered the courtroom vocabulary. What happened? And what didn't happen, though it absolutely should have? The author - a direct trial observer - connects her insights with a broader critique of our justice system, public discourse, and the role of media in democratic oversight. She examines how digital hate campaigns, social media distortions, and state-funded broadcasters contributed to a kind of shadow trial - one that threatened the core values of fairness, transparency, and human dignity. "I never imagined something like this could happen in Germany," she writes. "Without irony, there are only two options: to scream or to go silent." Since silence was not an option, this book was written - for everyone who believes that justice must be public, and that true justice must always include compassion and humanity. Political context Legal contradictions Media silence vs. digital outrage A defendant who stood for truth - and stood trial for it A. G. Henning: Sunlight Prosecuted - The Trial of Dr. Reiner Fuellmich is a sharp, ironic, and profoundly human analysis of a trial that had already made history - even before the verdict was announced. The verdict has now been delivered - but it is far from final. Legal appeal is pending, and the public scrutiny has only just begun.
