Andie Hazairin Soekamto HOW TO PRAY IN ISLAM - Step by Step: Five Daily Salah - Pocket Sized Guide - International Edition

Alhamdulillah and congratulations for choosing Islam as your belief. Prayer is a personal and daily connection between a believer and Allah. For beginners or those new to Islam, learning to perform salah may feel unfamiliar at first. This is a natural part of the journey. This book offers a clear and simple guide to the essential pillars (rukun) of salah, making it easy to follow step by step. It focuses on the foundational elements required for a valid prayer, based on the Shafi'i school of thought. Once these basics are memorized, you can gradually enrich your prayer by adding more supplications and recommended recitations. Designed as a practical companion, this guide may be used while performing salah, reading the movements and recitations as needed. With regular practice, they will become familiar. There is no need to rush but sure. What matters most is sincerity, consistency, and the intention to improve. May this guide help make your salah clearer, calmer, and more confident, until you carry it within your heart without reading this book. From now on, we will use the term salah to refer to our prayer.
