Stephen N. Webber Home Ministering

Home Ministering - The Process of Perfecting the Saints is a life-changing novel that helps the reader better understand an important doctrine and principle that has been overlooked and underemphasized for a long time--Ministering. Following President Russell M Nelson's recent mandate to implement a "holier approach to caring for and ministering to others, " Home Ministering shifts our emphasis from simply visiting a family to actually ministering and caring for the needs of the Good Shepherd's flock. The book tells the story of a newly called LDS bishop as he is taught the vital role that ministering can play as we "watch over the Church always" and "bear one another's burdens." Along his journey he discovers that when we valiantly magnify our assignments to care for our fellow saints, and in turn allow them to serve us, we begin to develop the necessary Christlike attributes that will enable us to become more like him. Ministering then becomes an opportunity and a blessing, not a burden or requirement. It is through ministering to the flock of the Good Shepherd that we keep the two great commandments: to love God and love our neighbors. Home Ministering - The Process of Perfecting the Saints will help you better understand how to become an "Ammon-like shepherd," and show you how to minister the way He would minister, serve the way He would serve, and care the way He would care.
