Leah Toole Truth, the Daughter of Time

What if Henry VIII had died from his jousting accident? It is January 1536 and Henry VIII has just fallen from his horse during the infamous joust that rendered him chronically injured. In history books as we know it, the stress of the situation causes his queen, Anne Boleyn, to miscarry their son, and for her to be executed only months later. But what if Henry VIII had not survived the fall? What if he had died, throwing England into a succession crisis between his two and only surviving daughters with a claim to the throne? In a country suddenly spearheaded by women, the Tudor era may yet achieve peace; if only the dispute over their birthrights does not first lead to their destruction. Step into this alternative Tudor historical fiction and explore the lives these famous Tudor figures might have led had Henry VIII died in January 1536 in 'Truth, the Daughter of Time'.
