Dolores Lane Painting with Blood

After escaping a dark and poisonous past, Jane Meyer, a sweet and talented professional painter, crosses paths with James Ambrose, a charming and smart Homicide sergeant for the Hunterville Police Department. It quickly becomes clear that theirs is a beautiful love story, written in the stars. Fate keeps bringing them together, but fate is a fucking bitch. In comes Alex Walker, a ruthless and deadly ex-Marine who spends his days as a composite sketch artist for the police. But there's more to him than meets the eye. He's a vicious serial killer. When a beautiful friendship blossoms between Alex and Jane, the notion that he understands her in a way that James never could is as destructive as a blade. And after a traumatic night makes Jane's whole world crumble to pieces, she only desires one thing. Revenge. With murder on her brain, Alex is the only one who fathoms her need for blood. As they embark on a violent killing spree, a bloody mix of lust and dangerous devotion forms between them, one so powerful that neither of them has the power to fight against it.
