Collective Superpowers - Anne-marie Finch - Bog - Mellemgaard

We are in the midst of a paradigm shift — from me to we. To succeed, each of us must reprogramme our inner software, becoming more conscious of the habits, biases, and illusions that keep us trapped in the mind and ego. When we reconnect head and heart, we free ourselves and those around us. And that’s where Belongingness comes in. The more we can be fully ourselves, the stronger we stand — and the more we can contribute to the collective. When, on the other hand, we cannot be who we are and have to tie ourselves in knots to fit in, we lose our power and naturally turn inwards for our own survival. Collective Superpowers – When Leadership Scales Strengths explores Belongingness, consciousness and better leadership. A dynamic model of consciousness explains both conscious and unconscious actions, complemented by real-world business cases, practical exercises, and hands-on guidance for scaling culture and strengths. ”A team with a Fitting in culture misses important voices in the internal debate and risks overlooking mistakes and solutions. This book is an important and enlightening contribution to working with Belongingness at all levels.” Esben Kolind Laustrup, CEO at Bankdata ”When we began working with Belongingness, we quickly realised that it offers a simple and accessible way to understand why it is so vital to build a collective WE rather than an I.” Lise Bøgelund, CEO at Wealth Fund Partners Uddrag af bogen I clearly remember a meeting with an investor reflecting on the performance of his portfolio. He had invested in companies that, in his words, sold ’sexy products’, and companies that sold ’non-sexy products.’ He was surprised to find that several of the ’sexy’ companies performed worse than the ’non-sexy’ ones. The reason for their success soon became clear: the difference lay in the quality of leadership. That’s why it makes so much sense for talents to focus on culture when they talk about what ’good’ feels like. A cultural framework of Belongingness — where people can truly belong as they are — has become a recognised prerequisite for both growth and performance. Fortunately, many companies are already exploring what truly drives sustainable commercial success for the future.
