Lise Grastrup Draw up your game with professional graphic facilitation skills

Graphical presentations have a positive impact on our ability to think, analyze, be creative, remember, and feel. That makes the use of graphical elements an obvious choice in your work-life. Yet many of us fear and avoid drawing. This book examines the mental barriers built up against drawing and explains why we should do it anyway. It teaches how you can easily learn to draw simple icons, and build drawing skills to make you a better, more interesting graphic recorder, facilitator, meeting leader, or teacher. Graphic facilitation is not about pretty drawings, nor are they pieces of art. It is about initiating internal and external dialogue and communicating in an ancient yet new way. This book will guide you in building your toolbox of graphical elements and combining them in unique ways to convey your message and add magic to processes in professional contexts. Lise Grastrup is a professional graphical recorder. Through graphic recordings, visual presentations, info-movies, and training courses, she works with companies to help strengthen their communication with graphic facilitation. She also offers a range of courses in graphic facilitation (traditional and online). You can supplement this book with the free workbook and other training material on her website: lisegrastrup.com.
