Osamu Nishi Ichi the Witch, Vol. 8

In a world where only women can be witches, one unsuspecting boy acquires their power. Magic is alive and well in the world, inside beings known as Majiks. By completing a Majik’s trial, a Witch can gain its power. However, only women can become Witches or use magical items. All that changes one day when a young man named Ichi turns the world on its head by defeating an infamous Majik and gaining its magical powers! To ensure Minerva’s escape, Chrono uses his time-manipulation magic to stop Kizashi the Octobomb Majik from getting anywhere near her. It’s an evenly matched struggle until Kizashi unleashes a vicious secret attack! Meanwhile, Desscaras is on her own, undertaking the trial for the Majik that orchestrated this whole scheme–Hitsugi the Reverser Majik. Their trial, Cutting 10,000 Dead, is already cruel, but Hitsugi sinks to a new low when one of the bodies Desscaras must cut down pushes her to the brink of despair…
