Mollie Goins Catching Mine

Love wasn't in the lineup. Neither was the baby. Being traded to the Boston Blues was the best thing to happen to Adam Reyer. Another World Series ring, a team that feels like family, and a city that's finally starting to feel like home, he's never been more sure he belongs. For Mia Wright nothing has ever felt impossible. Every plan she's made for her life is falling into place, and dare she say: ahead of schedule. Taking over her grandfather's restaurant has been the dream for a decade, and now it's officially happening. Neither realizes anything was missing from the lives they'd built until Adam sits down in Mia's restaurant office to plan his sister's surprise engagement party. Falling for each other is easy. Getting a positive pregnancy test a few months into their relationship is not. A baby wasn't in Mia's plans, and for Adam, impending fatherhood drags up everything about his own painful past. Suddenly the dream restaurant, the post-championship season, and the relationship that was supposed to be their easy thing are all competing for space with a due date neither of them planned for. With each curveball thrown their way, Adam and Mia quickly realize that neither of them particularly loves striking out.
