Lauren Blakely The Boyfriend Goal

A forbidden romance with my brother's hockey-playing teammate wasn't on my to-do list when I moved across the country... I uprooted my quiet life for a new job in the city, not to spend my first evening here with a sexy stranger who rescues me when I'm locked out of my friend's apartment wearing nearly nothing. Then rescues me from an O drought. But the next morning, I learn the generous, filthy-mouthed man from last night is not only my brother's new hockey teammate. He's also - wait for it - my brand new roommate . The last thing I need is a complicated fling, and Wesley doesn't want to rock the team boat, so we agree to a friends-only rule. It's not easy though when the shameless flirt walks around the house shirtless. Or when he gives me heated looks that make my pulse pound. It's harder still to stay friendly when he offers me rides to work, pitches in at my library's fundraiser and takes care of me when I get hurt. He makes me feel seen in a way I've never experienced before. I don't know how long I can stick to our rules, especially the night Wes comes to my door and tells me exactly how he'd like to break them. Every single one.
