Maggie Evans Hot for Hostage

Good girl Sadie will do anything to get her dog back... even take a mafia boss hostage. Sadie Morris is a ball of sunshine wrapped in bubblegum pink hair and short pink overalls, pockets brimming with homemade dog treats. Her idea of "fun" is volunteering at a run-down dog shelter. I hate dogs. And volunteering. And fun. But when a group of punks vandalize the shelter and steal one of Sadie's furry friends, she goes to the last person she should seek out for help getting him back: me . Davian Reed. Heir to the criminal empire that runs our city. Cold, calculating, and raised by a ruthless father to own this city and everything in it, I'm tied to the mafia from birth until death. Good girls know to never come within a hundred feet of me. That doesn't stop Sadie. When I brush off her desperate plea for help, she doesn't even hesitate before snatching my friend's gun and wiggling it at me like a seasoned bank robber-claiming she's taking me "hostage" until I can find her dog. She got my attention. Her sob story might seem a little far-fetched, but few have the balls to ask me for help. Throw in her sweet curves and laughable demands, and I'm ready to see how this hostage situation plays out. A laugh-out-loud and lighthearted take on mafia romance with a dual POV, Hot for Hostage is perfect for fans of sweet heroines and the heroes who fall hard for them.
