Emma Coyne Poems for My Parts

Poems for My Parts: An IFS Therapy Journey Have you ever felt like there were many parts inside of you, all vying for attention? What if those voices were finally given a chance to be heard? Poems for My Parts is a raw and tender poetry collection exploring life through the lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. Written during the author's own healing journey, these poems give voice to the hidden inner figures we all carry: the protectors, the exiles, the ones who ache, and the ones who quietly yearn for freedom. Across this wide-ranging collection, you will meet the parts that strive, the ones that hide, the ones who hold childhood memories, and the ones who never stopped trying to protect. These poems sit with the moments that shape a life, exploring shame, longing, survival, and the softening that becomes possible when compassion finally finds its way in. Most of all, they offer the reminder that healing is possible, even in our darkest moments. This book is for anyone who longs for a gentler relationship with themselves. It offers solace, recognition, and the quiet reassurance that our relationship with ourselves can be one of compassion and understanding. Written by Dr Emma Coyne, Clinical Psychologist, Level 3 Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist, and writer, this intimate collection is shaped by the inner work of therapy and the human experience of growth, pain, protection, and self-connection. Emma Coyne's debut poetry collection is a testament to resilience, the courage of finding a voice, and the beauty that emerges when we finally listen to the parts of ourselves that have been waiting to be heard.
