Timothy Tiryaki Leading With Culture

Leading With Culture introduces a groundbreaking perspective on organizational culture, focused on building people-centered organizations. This new paradigm views culture through the lens of employee experience, providing fresh insights into how culture shapes the modern workplace. Much of our understanding of organizational culture is based on concepts developed decades ago. While some of these ideas remain relevant, today's AI-driven, hybrid working environments demand a new approach. Timothy Tiryaki presents Maslow Research Center's findings on decoding employee experience in the 21st century. Drawing inspiration from Maslow's hierarchy of needs, the book addresses a crucial question: What do employees need and expect from their organizations, peers, and leaders? By exploring the Maslow Culture Index statements and research findings, along with real-world stories and mini case studies, Leading With Culture provides a deeper understanding of workplace needs. What you will find in this book: - Maslow's hierarchy of needs in the 21st-century workplace - Basic needs at work - Is my organization meeting my essential needs? - Psychological needs at work - Are my peers and community supporting me? - Growth needs at work - Is my direct supervisor helping me reach my potential? - Measuring workplace culture through the employee experience For leaders seeking to genuinely demonstrate empathy, it's essential to first understand their employees' needs and experiences. This book will equip readers with the awareness and insights necessary to lead with culture and build people-first organizations.
