Jo Pronger Faulkner The Autoimmune Warrior's Healing Key

Are you sick and tired of feeling sick and tired? Are you being robbed of a high-vibing life because of an autoimmune condition? Author Jo Pronger Faulkner was initially diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome. Several years later, along came additional health crises: hypothyroidism, systemic lupus, mixed connective tissue disease, and skin cancer. After being on medications for years, suffering from side effects while her health continued to decline, Jo decided she wanted to experience a better quality of life or was willing to die trying. Thinking she and her partner were going to Nicaragua simply for a long-term get-away, they stumbled upon a new way of living that sparked her interest in the power of plants. By the time they returned to Canada, Jo felt better than she had in years. She immersed herself in learning as much as she could about autoimmune disease, the lifestyle components that contribute to it, and how making different decisions can change everything. The Autoimmune Warrior's Healing Key is a balance of technical explanations about how the endocrine system works and how it links to autoimmune illness, interwoven with Jo's journey and what she ultimately discovered to turn her health around. This power-packed book will help you figure out your own key to healing so you can get your life back, too.
