Evette Davis The Campaign

For fans of A Discovery of Witches , this taut, steamy final installment of The Council Trilogy follows Olivia as she attempts to keep an old nemesis from seizing control of the White House through dark magic--and to keep her loved ones alive. In this third and final installment of The Council Trilogy, political consultant Olivia Shepherd has scarcely had time to unpack after returning home from a harrowing assignment overseas when she's offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: help elect a woman president. Knowing the assignment will put her squarely in the path of an old nemesis, Olivia is resolved to refuse--until she learns the stakes are much higher than they seem. Reunited with William, Josef, and the rest of her inner circle, Olivia soon learns that her opponent's use of ancient, dark magic to capture the White House is threatening the very fabric of the universe. But it's only when her father falls victim to an unspeakable attack that she realizes she must put an end to Stoner Halbert once and for all. With no time to spare, Olivia assembles an elite supernatural advance team and sets off on the campaign trail. Along the way, she encounters a new mentor, family she never knew existed, and a band of deadly supernatural mercenaries she thought she'd left behind. Meanwhile, politics take a deadly turn inside the Council--making Olivia wonder if everyone in her inner circle, including her, will survive this trial.
