Genevieve Behrend Your Invisible Power

Genevieve Behrend's Your Invisible Power is one of the classic works of early twentieth-century New Thought philosophy, presenting a practical guide to the power of thought and the role of mental discipline in shaping one's life. Drawing upon the teachings of Thomas Troward, with whom she studied, Behrend explains how focused thought, belief, and intention influence personal circumstances and opportunities. In clear and direct language, the book explores the relationship between the conscious mind and the deeper creative forces that govern the universe. Behrend argues that by learning to direct thought with clarity and confidence, individuals may cultivate prosperity, health, and personal achievement. Her approach combines spiritual philosophy with practical instruction, encouraging readers to recognize the constructive power of disciplined imagination. First published in the early twentieth century, Your Invisible Power became one of the foundational texts of the New Thought movement. Its ideas influenced many later writers in the fields of personal development and success philosophy, and the work continues to be read by those interested in the relationship between thought, belief, and creative action.
