Timothy Keller Making Sense of God

Is it really reasonable to believe in Christianity? Challenging the assumption that religion is irrelevant in a world where empirical proof is the basis of our reasonings, Timothy Keller, author of New York Times bestseller The Reason for God reverses the question: Isn't secular thinking just another set of beliefs? Keller puts secularism under the intellectual scrutiny that is usually applied to religion. With a compelling knowledge of the secular belief system and a clarity of logic, Keller opens a conversation between writers such as Nietzsche or C.S. Lewis to reflect on meaning, hope, freedom, satisfaction, identity and justice. 'If you think Christianity doesn't hold much promise of making sense to a thinking person, then this book is written for you.' Timothy Keller Keller does not aim to prove God's existence, but his methodical approach powerfully calls into question the basis of many commonly held secular views . Written for both sceptic and believer, Making Sense of God shines a light on the profound relevance of Christianity in our modern lives . 'This is the book which convinced me of the truth of Christianity . if you want an overview of the main arguments for the existence of God and the truth of the core of the Christian message, this is a good place to start .' Reader review 'The first Christian apologetics book I've read that's actually written to (and for) the "intellectually enlightened skeptic."
