Jeff Dollar Letting Go of the Need to be Right: What's so Wrong with Being Wrong Anyway?

"I'm sorry you feel that way."- Anyone who's mastered the fauxpology We all struggle to admit fault. Instead of being dependent on God and interdependent with others, we find it easier to defend our viewpoint, talk more than listen, or find flaws in the messenger and dismiss the message we need to hear. The good news is that we don't always have to be right or be the star that shines the brightest. Letting Go of the Need to Be Right is an invitation to recognize issues that impede personal growth and hinder relationships. Learn to: - pursue what's right, not who's right. - understand the ring of power and be mindful of your own motives. - create a culture of creativity and collaboration. - celebrate your team rather than steal the spotlight. Jesus calls leaders to be lifelong learners and servants. When you change your view of success, the pressures to know it all, have it all, and be it all lose their power over you. You are then free to let go of the need to be right and fulfil your calling in God.
