Dani Dazey The Maximalist

“This is the most extravagant and iconic book that ever existed!” — Trixie Mattel, world-famous drag queen and owner of Trixie Motel " The Maximalist is a fearless, joy-filled celebration of color and character. It reminds us that design doesn’t have to behave—it can be exuberant, unruly, and delightfully over-the-top." — Justina Blakeney, Artist, Author, and Founder of Jungalow Maximalist style authority Dani Dazey shares her bold design advice for creating colorful interiors and playful patterns in your home. Does your maximalist soul crave all things color, pattern, and texture? If so, let Dani Dazey show you how to bring it home. With her vintage-inspired flair, quirky custom furniture, unique graphic designs, and bright color palettes, Dazey is the perfect person to bring happiness and personality into your decorating. The Maximalist includes sixteen of Dazey’s design projects, from the iconic Trixie Motel—created with beloved drag queen Trixie Mattel—to the idyllic Dazey Desert House at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, to a crazy and colorful-to-the-max mansion in Alabama. Let this book be your guide to finding balance in creative expression, establishing an atmosphere, mixing in patterns (hint: you can never have enough wallpaper), and choosing the right furniture and finishes. True to its name, the book itself is a maximalist pleasure, complete with gorgeous sprayed edges.
