Aaron Leitch The Angelical Language Two-Volume Set

This two-volume set is the most comprehensive analysis of John Dee's Angelical language ever undertaken. The Angelical language channeled by alchemist Edward Kelley and recorded by royal astrologer John Dee has mystified magicians, linguists, historians, and cryptographers for generations. Previously published separately, these two volumes are now available as a must-have set in a gorgeous slipcase. In Volume I, independent scholar Aaron Leitch introduces the history and mythos of the celestial tongue and reveals how it was received, for what it was intended, and how to use it properly. In Volume II, every Angelical word recorded in Dee's books, journals, and personal grimoire is cross-referenced, allowing the reader to recognize root words, alternate spellings, and more. In addition to Dee's own phonetic notations, a brand-new pronunciation key is included so readers can learn to speak the language and use it in their own magick.
