Bret Weinstein og Heather Heying A Hunter-Gatherer's Guide to the 21st Century

In "A Hunter-Gatherer's Guide to the 21st Century" the two evolutionary biologists Heather Heying and Bret Weinstein address how the evolution of the human race has caused challenges in our current time. How is it that people have more wealth and comfort than ever before in history, yet society is plagued by toxic political landscapes and high rates of suicide, loneliness and chronic illness? And are these two facts connected somehow? Wife and husband Heather Heying and Bret Weinstein believe our ancient brains and bodies are not evolved to fit in with the modern world, and that we are harmed by this dissonance. "A Hunter-Gatherer's Guide to the 21st Century" by Heather Heying and Bret Weinstein offers clear principles and guides to confront the "hyper-novelty" of our current culture. The book discusses themes like sex, gender, parenting, and education in an evolutionary context, in the hope of getting the reader to reevaluate some of our modern behavioral patterns.
