Voices from the Grave - Two Men's War in Ireland - Ed Moloney - Paperback Bog - Faber & Faber - 2011 - Engelsk - Booktok.dk

**FEATURED IN PATRICK RADDEN KEEFE'S SAY NOTHING ** A sensational book exposing the truth about the war in Northern Ireland through two key testimonies. When it comes to Northern Ireland's history, reconciliation between republicans and loyalists hasn't make for much truth-telling about the past. Men who had been to the White House and fraternized with Tony Blair deny that they ever fired a shot in anger, or caused a bomb to be planted. In Voices From the Grave , Ed Moloney unearths a truly ground-breaking piece of historical evidence. Here, two former paramilitary leaders - Brendan Hughes of the IRA and David Ervine of the UVF - speak with unprecedented frankness and openness about their role in some of the most appalling violence of the Troubles. Now, their voices, set skilfully within the context of their distinct communities, come together in shocking and irresistible testimony.
