The Summer I Turned Pretty - Jenny Han - Paperback Bog - Penguin Random House Children's UK - 2010 - Engelsk - Booktok.dk

"The Summer I Turned Pretty" by Jenny Han is a funny romance novel about falling in love in the summer, written by the author of the YA sensation "To All the Boys I've Loved Before". Isabel - or Belly, as her friends call her - loves the summer. Every year she gets to spend the holiday in the Fisher family's beach house, an absolute paradise, and the perfect place to while the warm days away. The beach house has its own swimming pool and connects to a private section of the beach, but the very best thing about the summers isn't the sun, sand, and sea. The best part is seeing her two childhood friends, the brothers Conrad and Jeremiah, and hanging out with them all summer long. This summer, however, everything is changed when both brothers suddenly seem to notice Belly in a different way. Belly has had a crush on the aloof Conrad for ages, but the sweet, friendly, and attentive Jeremiah is also very cute. "The Summer I Turned Pretty" by Jenny Han is the first installment in a trilogy of books about the love triangle between Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah and the summers that determines their relationships.
