'Pacey, twisty and with so many reveals I literally did have my jaw in the floor! I absolutely loved this book. If you’re a fan of a thriller, great drama, and a book with so many twists you’ll get whiplash then this is for you!’ Reader review ‘This has to be the best book I've read in a long time. Captivating story, unexpected twists are everywhere. Absolutely brilliant’ Reader review ‘Louise Jensen does it again. A very unnerving, creepy thriller which I couldn't put down until the last page ... Cass, James and Rose's stories will stay with me for a long time’ Reader review ‘Wow, what a read! How Louise managed to plan this multi-layered, twisty plot is beyond me!’ Reader review * * * * They were told to leave. They should have listened. The perfect opportunity... A manor house available rent-free to house-sitters is an offer too good to miss for Cass and James, who have been saving for a deposit on their own home for so long. Although it had been abandoned for almost thirty years, after a home invasion left almost all the inhabitants dead, it is an amazing chance for them to build their future. But is it worth the price? Shortly after moving in things take a sinister turn. Objects disappear and turn up in odd places, the clock always stops at the same time, the house is strangely oppressive and sometimes it feels like Cass and James are not alone. Newington House may have bad energy, and a dark reputation. But surely there’s no reason for history to repeat itself, is there? * * * * Praise for Louise Jensen 'Full of twists, turns with fiendishly clever misdirection, this is a gripping, powerful and ambitious book’ Philippa East ‘A galloping pulse-pounder’ Heat on Louise Jensen ‘You’ll be left open-mouthed’ Woman’s Weekly on Louise Jensen
