Power over Ethernet (PoE). Wall mountable PoE Extralink EUROS v2 switch It is a 6 port unmanaged switch with 4 PoE ports - with a maximum speed of 100 Mbps and IEEE 802.3af/at support - with maximum power per port up to 30W. The switch also has 2 RJ45 ports without PoE power options. These ports can be used as Uplink ports or to connect additional devices e.g. video recorder in monitoring applications Four additional operating modes of the PoE switch There are four switches on the front of the EUROS v2 Switch, which allow you to run additional modes to improve network performance or range. Below are the operating principles of each mode: VLAN mode - when this mode is activated, the ports 1-4 are isolated from each other, which effectively suppresses broadcast storms and improves network performance. EXTEND mode - allows ports 1-4 to effectively transmit data and PoE power over distances up to 250 meters. This is ideal for video surveillance systems. AI QoS Mode - In this mode, video data is processed as a priority to ensure a smooth image. The solution used primarily in monitoring solutions. AI PS mode - the switch automatically detects the operating status of the connected device to one of the PoE ports. When it detects that it is not working properly, it automatically restarts the devic...
