Because an APC Rack ATS uses two input power cords (not included), it can be connected to two different power sources at the same time. By then connecting single-powered hardware to the Rack ATS, this hardware can have access to 2 separate power sources. If one source fails, the Rack ATS immediately switches to the second feed, without the connected hardware being affected. Easy to use You can read the status of the APC Rack ATS at a glance via the front panel interface, but you can also manage it remotely thanks to its built-in network management functionality. Convenience Because this Rack ATS is equipped with multiple outputs, multiple single-powered devices can be connected to the ATS at the same time, so that all benefit from the security of two feeds. Safety The built-in intelligent interface allows this APC rack ATS to monitor both input power sources, detect deviations in voltage or frequency and then take a user-defined action, such as sending an alarm or switching.
